The Friends of Linnwood have published two books about Linnwood:
- Chronicles of George McCredie - a transcription of newspaper articles published about George McCredie. OUT OF STOCK.
- The History of Linnwood - From Family Home to Community Asset - the history of the Linnwood Estate from pre-McCredie days to 2011 when Linnwood celebrated its 120th Birthday. Includes stories from a number of state wards who were residents at Linnwood whilst 'in care'. Cost: $10.00 plus postage.

Guest speakers from the Friends of Linnwood are available to speak at community group meetings or schools to give a talk and Powerpoint presentation on the History of Linnwood.
